Thanks Tigger, I've joined and posted something up.......but I'm rather hoping that Budge will just wave his magic wand and fix it when he comes up later

I do not comprehend "fix it"....have you traded your trusty reliable Honda in for a KTM or a Gixer?!! What did YOU do to break it?!!

Nic......the headlights weren't working on the CBR, hence I had to go to last nights pub meet by car

New headlight had been fitted but still no light. Fuses, connectors and switch all checked and ok but still no light.

But I now have light 8-) Tigger, thanks for the link they helped :)

The start switch (on the right) is faulty so needs replacing. However once the bike has been started, the faulty switch can be pulled back and the headlight comes on so hopefully that will be ok for now.

Thank you Budge, you're a star

Very helpful. I've always kept away from the big sites as thought them very impersonal, but I can now see the benefits!!

:o :o :o

So you broke the switch deliberately to give you an excuse to buy a new bike... see.. I knew there was a perfectly good explanation to have to "fix" a Honda!!

I guess it's no consolation that a new switch is cheaper than a new bike is it!!!
